 This system uses satellites to detect tsunami.It uses new designed GPS sensor station networks covering land sides, coastal areas and open sea locations.The microwave signals coming from the satellites of the GPS constellation.n These signals pass through the ionosphere and the troposphere to reach the GPS receivers. It can determine with in 15min whether an earthquake is strong enough to generate tsunami.
